Il Console USA per la Stampa e la Cultura in visita all’Università di Parma

Parma - L’Università di Parma ha accolto la visita istituzionale di Anthony Deaton, Console per la Stampa e la Cultura del Consolato Generale degli Stati Uniti d’America con sede a Milano. Il Console è stato ricevuto da Pier Luigi Marchini, docente del Dipartimento di Scienze Economiche e Aziendali, in rappresentanza dell’Ateneo, e da Alessandro Bernazzoli, responsabile della U.O. Internazionalizzazione.
Durante l’incontro sono stati illustrati gli accordi di collaborazione esistenti tra l’Università di Parma e diversi Atenei statunitensi, oltre che le diverse opportunità in ambito culturale che il Consolato Generale offre annualmente per accrescere le attività di collaborazione. Particolarmente apprezzata è stata l’illustrazione dei percorsi formativi dell’Ateneo di Parma offerti in lingua veicolare, il Food Project e i programmi di doppia titolazione in ambito ingegneristico attivi con il New Jersey Institute of Technology, sotto il coordinamento di Roberto Montanari.
Il Console ha inoltre rilevato come Il progressivo ritorno alle condizioni pre-epidemiche abbia riavviato le intense attività di mobilità studentesca tra i due Paesi, aspetto che il Governo degli Stati Uniti ha fissato come prioritario nella gestione delle politiche di visto di ingresso.
